About Us
The Low Point Lighthouse Society is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to preserving and promoting the historic Low Point Lighthouse and its surrounding site. Formed by local volunteers and heritage advocates, the Society works to protect the lighthouse’s legacy, ensure public access, and support restoration efforts of this iconic coastal landmark. Through community engagement, fundraising, and partnerships, the Society plays a vital role in keeping the story of Low Point alive for future generations.

Donations
Donations to the Low Point Lighthouse Society are vital in saving and revitalizing the lighthouse and surrounding property. You will be directly supporting urgent infrastructure projects such as reinforcing the failing seawall, or relocating the lighthouse inland to protect it from coastal erosion, which are two options currently being explored.
Additionally, donations will help cover maintenance costs, structural repairs, and interior renovations needed to safely open the lighthouse to the public. Contributions will also enable the Society to extend water and sewer infrastructure and improve public access.
We accept donations through the donation form on the home page,
e-transfers sent to lowpointlight@gmail.com, or by purchasing a t-shirt (pictured to the right).
To purchase a t-shirt, please email lowpointlight@gmail.com.
